Trudy Ludwig has received rave reviews nationwide from educators, experts, organizations, and parents for her passion and compassion in addressing the use of relationships to manipulate and hurt others.
Trudy wrote her first book, My Secret Bully, after her daughter was bullied by friends.
Since then she was been a sought-after speaker visiting schools around the country and educating students, parents, and teachers on the topic.
The need for her type of writing led her to publish four more books, Sorry, Just Kidding, Too Perfect, and Trouble Talk.

Trudy’s books take place in a child’s everyday world and model personal accountability and responsibility for their actions. The students could identify with the stories.
They shared feeling of times they have been bullied.
Trudy did role-playing with the students and showed them 8 different tools to empower them to stop the bullying.
She pointed out how a by-stander to a bullying incident has the power to stop it in just seconds.
The students used these tools and demonstrated how to stop the aggression on their own.
It was a powerful presentation to equip our students to make good choices.

A thank you to the Arrow Education Foundation for helping sponsor Trudy Ludwig. Without the Bunde Grant, we would not have had the funding to bring this speaker to
Watertown.
